Reconnecting at the IBP PhD Congress 2022 - "Be the change!"

The first in-person IBP PhD Congress since 2019 was a success and provided great opportunities to re-connect on a social and scientific level after the pandemic.

The IBP PhD Congress is a yearly event where PhD students at our institute are presenting their research in a poster exhibition and scientific talks. Around 100 IBP members attended the 12 talks and 36 poster presentations at the 14th IBP PhD Congress. The congress was a great opportunity to personally re-connect after the pandemic and participants enjoyed the scientific as well as the social program organised by the committee Maya Amacha, Kevin Kleemann and Tong Yang. The chairs Charlotte Bopp and Rachel London moderated the congress and captivated the audience with their energy. Many thanks to all participants, student assistants Fabienne Maire, Michelle Ammann, Manqi Gao, and IBP institute head Kris McNeill for his inspiring opening speech.
